Life Changes
Teens and young adults with special health
needs may find it difficult becoming independent in the adult
community and may need support during this process. Parents
play an important role in helping their teen or young adult
learn new skills and gain independence.
This is an exciting time for teens and
young adults. There may be changes in schools, friends, and
places where you get health care. As you move from age 14
towards your 21st birthday, it is important to plan for your
healthcare. The link below will help you think about your
future. Please review the link and discuss with your parents,
if you have questions please talk with your health care
provider or contact CRS at (602) 406-6400 or (800)
392-2222.
